Life’s common question, Are you now happy?

According to the dictionary, Happiness is a state of mind or feeling characterized by contentment, love, satisfaction, pleasure, or joy, sometimes described as “positive emotions” and “positive activities”. A variety of philosophical, religious, psychological and biological approaches have striven to define happiness and identify its sources.

But if you would ask yourself again, are you now happy?

Some and most of the people answered…

yes, because i now have an iphone….
yes, because i have a wonderful wife….
yes, because i have GOD…
yes, because i can pay my credit cards…
yes, because i have wonderful kids…
yes, because i have a brand new car…
yes, because i have a handsome and successfull boyfriend
yes, because i have a pretty and successful girlfriend…
yes, because i have a loving family…
yes, because i have a good and high paying job…
yes, because i have travelled to so many places…
yes, because i have reached Mt. Everest…
yes, because i’m pregnant…
yes, because i’m not sick…
yes, because i have lots of savings in my bank account…
yes, because i saw my crush…
yes, because i have my own home…
yes, because i’m with someone special…
yes, because i can sleep well…
yes, because i have a lot of text mates…
yes, because i can write…
yes, because i won the championship…
yes, because i won the contest…
yes, because i treated someone bad…
yes, because i have accused someone of false pretentions…
yes, because i survived the tragedy…
yes, because i was drunk last night…
yes, because i can sleep early…
yes, because i have a peace of mind…
yes, because i not angry anymore…
yes, because i had a dinner date…
yes, because i can still laugh…
yes, because i ate a delicious lunch…
yes, because i’m still alive….
and so on and so forth….

Still with all that has been said… No one really knows how, what or when happines is… To end this silly idea of me.. a passage from the bible…

For everything there is a season,
And a time for every matter under heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die;
A time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
A time to kill, and a time to heal;
A time to break down, and a time to build up;
A time to weep, and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn, and a time to dance;
